The four-cylinder version gets 23 mpg, the best of any nonhybrid SUV we've tested.

Toyota Sienna
The Sienna is our pick for the second year in a row. Its spacious, quiet, and refined interior is on par with some luxury sedans. And its V6 engine is powerful and fuel efficient. We could not find a moter in any junkyards so the mechanic is going to rebuild it. We could have an engine made but the total cost of that was around $5000 but I cant afford that so do you guys know of any web sites I could check out for a new engine or some inexpensive replacement parts?

I am going to have to get a car soon and have heard all the things about a cars miles. My question is, why not buy a good looking car with a lot of miles and put in a 4,000$ engine? That would mean if you got a car for 3,000$ with 200,000 miles and the same car was 10,000$ with 70,000 miles. It seems like just putting in a new engine would be the smart thing to do. Sure, but what if the engine parts are relatively new? I would estimate even if you had to replace a few parts it would still fall well short of the price you would pay for a relatively new car. Wrong or right?
