Motorcycle wheel chocks include two metal side plates which are used keep the motorcycle tire in place.   The plates may be adjusted for tires from 80 to two hundred mm wide, though an optional set of top plates is generally recommended for tires smaller than 100 mm in width. 

You may to purchase optional plates that bolt to the top of th chock with U-shaped clamps. They can be installed and then rotated out of the way if necessary when not needed.   

Four carriage bolts (2 on either side, provided by the manufacturer) hold the plates in place.  The width is adjusted by loosening the nuts to push the plates in and out using the scale on the front of the ramp to adjust to the perfect tire width.  

Motorcycle wheel chocks can be used on either the front or rear tire, though some motorbike rear fenders may hang too low to allow the bike to fit.  The chock works great in the garage or shop for holding the motorbike throughout repair.   

After the wheel is dropped down into the chock, the bike is really secure.  A few side-to-side| movement is apparent if the motorcycle is pushed, but you will be able to literally shake the bike back plus forth very hard and it stays in place.

The neat issue concerning the product is its ability to be used as a front wheel chock on a motorbike trailer.  2 three/8″ diameter holes are pre-drilled into the mounting plate, and these may be used to mount it on the floor of a trailer.  

Most motorcycle wheels chocks have a guarantee.  But there actually doesn’t appear to be anything that could fail with the device, because there aren’t any moving components, so don’t be worried regarding having to make any claims.
